BEFORE STARTING: Online Tutoring
Prior to the course, there will be an individual online review of the designs by the instructor. (EXPLANATORY PDF)
DAY 1 – Theory and Preparation
Schedule:
- Theory of techniques applied to Blackwork: whip shading, realistic shading, dotwork
- Methodology (for the following day’s practice)
- Specific materials and tonal palette
- Tips and advice for preparing designs
- Viewing of reference images
Q&A session
DAY 2 – Intensive Practice
Schedule:
Each tattoo artist will bring their own client, with whom they will proceed to execute the tattoo (a previously agreed-upon project) under direct supervision, in order to experience the techniques and assimilate them in a definitive way.
REQUIRED MATERIALS
Participants must bring their own personal equipment: machines, power supply, inks, and needles.
All disposable consumable materials will be provided by the studio.
